Job Description:
We are seeking a data scientist with a numerate background and a good understanding of algorithmic development. Knowledge of imaging analysis and computer vision is required. The role comprises of development software/algorithms for a wide range of applications. Candidates must be able to integrate and communicate within teams and with other developers and occasionally in a customer environment., * Degree, MSc or PhD in Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics or related subject
Job Responsibilities:
- Analysis and reporting- to be able to explore a dataset (and associated metadata) and summarise findings in a clear manner
- Python- to have an understanding of the functions, classes modules, pip, git, Pandas, NumPy, Jupyter notebooks, OpenCV, and the scikit learn API
- Linux/Ubuntu development skills.
- Robotics knowledge: ROS, Path planning | inverse kinematics | C++.
- Data engineering- to be able to query SQL databases, including multiple joins and aggregations. Possess practical knowledge of ETL pipelines and the necessary part they often play in data science initiatives.
- Machine learning- to be able to formulate appropriate problems into machine learning tasks, select appropriate methods, and then build, train, test and validate classifiers and regressors.
- Knowledge of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch is desirable.
